We started with a few announcements.

Louise Freeman asked anyone planning on attending the Christmas arrangements workshop which will be part of our November 16th meeting to let her know. She needs numbers to gauge how much greenery we need for the arrangements. We had a fun time last year and I encourage everyone to come this year.

Mary Higginson moved a motion to have Daniel Cloutier appointed as the Treasurer. The motion was carried

Joelle Claudon expressing the feelings of everyone present when she thanked Joan King for all the many years of service she had given to the club as the Treasurer.

Mary Higginson asked for a moment of silence to remember Manfred Schroeder one of our long time members.

Mary Higginson told the group that Rene Jeaurond had a photograph of his 150 tree published in the GardenMaking Magazine

Doreen Russell said Grace and then head table led off for supper. Everyone had brought the most delicious food and we were spoiled for choice.
